What is Functional Medicine?

Functional medicine approaches the body as a whole interconnected system. Our patients are motivated to feel better and willing to make the changes necessary to see improvement. We look deeper into blood work beyond what is commonly ordered through insurance. We use homeostatic lab ranges, rather than standard ranges, to optimize organ function. We support dysfunction in the organ systems by identifying where the nutritional, cellular, hormonal, enzymatic, or metabolic pathways need assistance. Utilizing proper testing, lifestyle changes, diet, exercise, and necessary supplementation patients get answers to their medically unexplainable symptoms and chronic health issues. We know it can be frustrating to be co-managed between multiple health care offices, so we take all of the puzzle pieces and put them together.

Telehealth Consultations and Analysis

We are currently only serving patients within Florida. Our telehealth services allow convenient zoom video conferencing. No more busy offices or waiting rooms! When applicable, we will order labs or imaging that are completed locally to you or kits sent to your home for stool samples, blood spot, or urine collection. You are welcome to submit relevant labs for for evaluation. All supplementation will be mailed to your home. If you have any questions about our virtual health options we are more than happy to answer them for you and walk you through it.
