Meet Dr. Macie Biermann
Dr. Macie was raised in northeast Ohio and graduated from The University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. While pursuing her chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, she saw first hand how treating chiropractic patients for musculoskeletal complaints was helping with their back pain, but leaving their chronic health conditions to be medicated with pharmaceuticals. After battling with her own health concerns and finding no pharmaceuticals to help, she learned about functional medicine testing and natural methods of healing the body.
She sought to expand her chiropractic skills beyond adjusting to nutrition, lab testing and interpretation, supplementation, and chronic disease management. She pursued a 300 hour Diplomate with the American Board of Chiropractic Internists, providing extensive training on lab results and interpretations beyond the traditional teachings of chiropractic school.
